Welcome to the USS Odyssey, an Explorer class starship assigned to Task Force 47, Bravo Fleet. Tasked with exploring the Gavarian Frontier.

I would like to take this time while the odyssey page is still active, to say goodbye to captain Portnoy.
I have served in many simms with Dan, and I would just like to say that the fleet will not be the same without you. It is my hope the the Odyssey continues to flourish, but it will always lack without you in the center chair.
As we all know, personal life comes up from time to time and demands more of us that we really want to give. Too bad we all couldn't just live in simm life to make it that much easier :-p
Dan You will be missed.
I want to take this time to also bring up the issue of the Odyssey's continuance. It is my hope the Commander Molly Miller will be able to take command of the Odyssey. I have full confidence that you can command this ship. I would ask that you please contact the entire group to let us know whether you are willing to take command or not. If not, i know there are other officers here who are worthy aswell.
Let's not just give up on the odyssey, we own it to Captain Portnoy to continue on. Please would someone step forward to take command of her. Please contact the group with your intentions and contact the Task Force Command staff. I would not want to see the odyssey back in the NPC world.

The USS Odyssey is no longer active sim.
Yesterday I sent in my letter of resignation and as of today it is official.
If any of you need help finding a new home for your character please email me and I`ll find you a spot on some of the other fine simms in the fleet ^^
